Have been having trouble getting hydra float to work, seems when harvesting at high speed, and cutting low, reaction time in hydra float is not acceptable. We have been harvesting in manual and it is working great, wondering if anyone has any ideas on getting it right.

I lowered my pressure down below 2000psi helped alot on dry ground. No luck in mud like you I've been running manual return to cut. I have a 625D and even with the slow reaction in hydra float it beats a macdon.

I gave up on the Mud Digger McDon and put the 635D on. That 635D head worked great. I set the pressure at 2050 on the wetter ground and 1900 on the dryer ground. I set everything at 80% for reaction time and that head worked great. Even when I opened the field and following the rows it did not push dirt just floated right along and going at a slight angle I could cruise right along at 4 to 4.5 mph.
