the machine is close to spencer, ia. salvage price on the combine is 2500 & 1500 for 708 cornhead

JD, it's a RUNNING, WORKING 9700, please don't demolish it.

Re-read the post, it has a seized engine, therefore not running, not working. It has the potential to be but currently is just iron sitting there as a parts machine.

ya I know, I just wnat to see some pictures of the machine and engine compartment.....mainly the engine compartment as twinstacks says there are some mods that need to be done in there. Refer back to my post in the MF section of this site.

I know it's only got the stuck engine, but that's not the end of the world. I've helped work on plenty of them, and know what [usually] only minimum effort will do. Otherwise, it's still a runner and works, and just a stuck motor is nowhere near "scrap metal" or a demolition grade machine.
