 2006 Harvest Run
« Thread Started on Mar 16, 2006, 6:16pm »

I am going to be making a run in 2006. I have yet to decide who I am going to be running with. I am thinking Danielski Harvesting. You are assigned one machine all summer and that machine is yours. You stay in Motels all the time no travel trailers. CDL is not required. You are provided one meal a day. Combines are equipped with everything except 4WD and the folding auger.

12 New 9760sts combines
6 New 8430 Tractors
4 Brent 1084 Carts
2 840 Kinze's
Peterbilt 379 Semis with Triple Axle Cornhusker Trailers
8 New 936D Draper Heads
2 year old 936D Draper Heads
2 New 635F Flex Heads

When I talked to him he said they may not take all 12 combines south, just a few if it doesn't rain.

Just remembering last summer and the thought I might change my mind again later on next year saying I'd rather stay home, so I figured I might as well go while I can and enjoy it why I can.

Do you know who you're running with yet Alex? I was just thinking that crews are going to be heading south in a month or so and I'm sure there will be lots to take care of before hitting the road.
