For wheat we were $18 per acre, $.18 per bushel over 20 bu. and $.25 per hundred for hauling. Corn will probably be around $18 per acre since we're in a drought. There will be alot of 60bu and lower corn yields.

I'm not a custom cutter, but do have trucks & trailers. I have requests from farmers to help haul from the field this harvest. I was thinking of charging $500/day for each truck. Does this seem right to you guys?

A neighbor asked me to custom combine sunflowers for him. Does anyone know what rate I should charge for just the combining? Combining and supplying 1 truck?

I thought about 25-26. Most guys around here are charging 28-30 for beans. Some want more for corn with yields near the 200's.

help me out here, what is triple 20's?
In my area (southern Ontario) I've heard as high as 40 this year. I have paid 38 for the last couple years. I bought my own combine and am getting 35 subing for another custom operator.
Those prices are for the combine, operator, and fuel only. No wagons, trucks, carts, or anything else. Yield and crop are irrelevant too

That second number is over x bushels per acre. Generally 20 in wheat...

What are the rates for milo harvesting when you are furnishing everything? Milo is making 90-100 bpa single crop and 70-90 bpa double crop. Longest haul with be 8 miles one way with tandem axle trucks.
